Qshine 2007, August 14 - 17, 2007, Vancouver, British Columbia

QShine 2007 invites manuscripts that present original materials not previously published in, or currently under review by, another conference or journal. Submissions should be either full-length papers of up to 7 pages or short papers of up to 4 pages (including all figures and references) in single-spaced double-column format with 9 points font size in ACM conference proceedings format. Full-length papers should report on completed work and will be considered for oral presentations. Short papers should report on work in progress or discuss open problems, and will be considered for poster presentations.

Important Dates

1. Prepare your paper

• See the Author's Kit for guidelines

2. Upload the paper in Cocus

All papers are uploaded in the COCUS System.

• Login with your e-mail and password. You need to register an account if you do not have one.
• Choose Events' list after login. Click Details in the row for Qshine2007.
• Choose Submit a paper and follow the step by step instruction.
• After the review process, you will be notified if your paper is accepted.

3. Register for the Conference

If your paper was accepted, you will be asked to Register.

• One author for each paper must register at a non-student rate, even if all authors are students.
• One registration covers two papers for those authors who have multiple papers accepted.
• Please go to the Registration page to register for the conference. IMPORTANT: Your paper will not be included in the proceedings unless you have successfully registered.

4. Final Paper Submission

• Within 72 hours of your successful registration, you will receive a message with instructions on how to upload your camera-ready paper(s). If you do not receive your instructions, please contact the Conference Coordinator.
• After you have uploaded your final paper, you will be asked to fill out a Copyright Form, either electronically or via Fax.
